red comemoration Aukey CB-AC1

Finally decided to get the Aukey braided nylon usb3.1 Gen1 to type-C (1.2m) cable. It can quick charge my huawei mate 9. Its thick and no worries of bashing it around. Its going to be my EDC cary cable (wanna leave the original one at home with the charger, as that one does supercharging really well and dont want to spoil it by wesr and tear). This one on the other hand. Imma abuse the heck out of it.

And it is usb3.1 btw, so it transfers data at 5gbs. Even faster than the original cable that only has usb2.

Because the two wires are different in function and tecnical aspects.. , i justify that it is worth the buy.

Haha, thats just me comforting myself.. For spending.. RM29. RRP was RM89. Aukey's official website sells it for Rm49. So 30 bucks... The digi store in 1B has had it for quite some time... And i keep eying it everytime i pass by the store.. So now... No more....

I'm satisfied and happy with my purchase..

The last thing i'd buy here in Sabah,
Before flying off back to PJ tonight,
And then to NZ on 27th!

post YLDP

so #hackerton happened over the past three days at id8
we tried to solve the problem of Oasis Place not being able to reach out to parents struggling to get help. digitization.

this would probably take a day of sitting down and just really brainstorming and trying to solve it.

mmhmm, on the first night we went to Jalan Alur for supper. man ,the food there's good. how come i dont go out to KL that often? Although i live so nearby. I guess i'm just so contended to be at home.

like today i play basket ball =) with some new peeps, uncle Tee, JY (or was it JT), Lukas and some other dude. It was goood. haven't had so much fun playing basketball in a while. i think my left tendon took a strain a lil though, and i did sooooo many ankle breakers! ultra boots is just not meant for lateral movements.

played badminton too! was quite fun. said no to Syanon sitting on the motorbike without a helmet back home. Actually its not too bad.. to say no.

watched a movie: The Game changers. on how James Wilks went veggie. lots of science behind how a plant based diet is soooo much better than eating meat. like arteries clear up and stuff. i think i'd try that for like .. 40 days or something.

i wanna be a barefoot, vegetarian, soap-free, no-poo, feature phone, minimalist .. haha

also bought a Raizen VS-1 volt stabilizer for Jim's car (so much for minimalism), no idea if it works, and the HKS grounding cables? haha dad made me go back to the shop to return them. they were nice, atleast i could swap them out for some other item. got another useless item: magnetic fuel saver.. lolll... why do i keep falling prey to all these lousy marketing

i should really try to save money.

saw a nokia dumb phone in the house.. ahhh so tempted to take and use it.

anyways.. gosh i just spent like.. half and hour browsing for dumb phones, what a waste of time!

i wanna go read a book now... enough of trying to write my life log on the blog.

mmhmm is there anything else to say? nah dont think so...

owh i went cycling. should have brought the church keys so i could have gone inside to play drums xD

avast premier at RM19

So, the avast antivirus updated and they gave an offer for the rest of the subscription (500 ish days more) to be premier for... RM19... normally if you try to get it off the store its RM149. and if you subscribe from inside the program its RM29. So yeah, i guess this offer only comes out after the update is made.

But one thing that you should be quite cautious about is that they will set an "auto renewal". which is what mostly happens when you sign up for anything that is for "free trial". After clicking a few links provided with the email that was sent, it's easy to find and disable.

I won't want to suddenly be charged RM149 (or whatever the new price would be) for something i only paid cheaper back then. I used to live off free antiviruses. but i think now in the age of internet and connectivity it's always good to have the latest anti virus for a peace of mind.

M545 control plus

new mouse!

M545 Control plus. Popular was having a sale in 1B.
70% off a RM119 mouse... so it was roughly 35 bucks.

Not bad. it has a nice scoll, and some extra buttons at the side for back and fourth web browsing.

the optic laser-level also enables it to function off most surfaces.

and to think i had a dilemma in choosing the old or new package. lol!
my mouse is not equally balanced tough, not sure if its the table...

Lining running shoes

After my blue Aesics got stolen when i left it outside the hous in KingFisher.. (they still smelled new!) =( sigh just thinking back i miss them so much...

i've been without running shoes for quite some time now,
so i was in a delima.. should i buy a pair of badminton shoes (cause i play it so much nowadays in FRC) or should i get a general purpose all rounder running shoe? (with lower heels so as not to sprain like the mizouno.. that was a really bad sprain)..

after wearing the stiff badmninton shoes i decided to go for the super light weight runners =)

there was a discount too and also lucky draw entry, fingers crossed might get the RM2k voucher, nyahahaha

RM242 after the discount, not too cheap, but owh well

thanks dad

Romoss ranger 17

always wanted a dual USB car charger that was small. but good, with proper chips and all inside it. So was contemplating either a Xiao Mi =m Anker or Romoss. I went for the latter

They are quite nice, after registering the the authentication key, they sent me a nice mail, from a girl named Chloe =)

haha, in the mail they even have this link below on "how long should you charge your powerbank for the first time", haha. i guess they get that question pretty alot!

for RM35... this is probably worth it. haven't had the chance to use it yet, but i like its design and how light it is

not waiting, an opened parcel

ah woke up today, was a little late for class caused i deley-delayed.

in scjool between classes i went with Miao to return the equipment i borrowed.
however i'm missing one measuring tape (that i think it's still with Gavin)
but he says no. then i came up with a scheme to take one from the outside and "replace" it.
but its evil. and thankfull God sent someone with me to watch over me.
it wasn't that bad talking to Sir David. in the end he just advised top get a replacement from a hardware shop it it really did go smissing.

sigh all these assuptions and uneeded fears that crop up because we fear to ask.

after the second class today i rushed home on the bike,.
just in time to catch the GDex courrier van driving off from the house. THANK GOD!
chased him down and stopped by the side of the road with him to get the parcel.

YESSSsssss. (the feeling of being away from home knowning that a parcel is coming is really really, uncomfortable). i'm glad i didn't miss this one./

the first parcel came today it was the D-Link router i bought on lazada.
should have waited till night time to open it with roomates to enjoy it more.
so much for delayed gratification. i should reallly learn to hold back so that the joy may be more complete.
i taught opening it up would be an exciting feeling (new stuff right)
but nope. i still feel as if there was void in me =(

anyways i packed it all back into the wraps and gdex plastic (not perfectly though)
and plan to open it up again as if it was the first time.

but i know.... its not going to be the same feeling as waiting.
its like, opening up something that has already been used/spoiled. sigh.

am i really fasting. i read a little bit of the bible today and a little in the afternoon. the day seems to be better. i wonder if it's just a psycological thing of is it really happening.

our world is so shaped by consumerism and aedversiting of marketed products.
what Do we really NEED.

xiao mi

got a xiaomi band from Chun Hao. He got it free with the purchase of a Mi4 during some special promotion and didn't want it. thanks a bunch! i've been wearing it for quite some time now, to log my activities, steps, jogs, tried to pari it up with Google FIt, but i think i'll leave it aside, or should it sync them? i heard that it counts a little bit of extra steps. but owh well, who really cares right?

i like the sleep function where it tells me how long i've slept that night and if i manage to have deep sleep. looking forward to the Mi band S1 where it can measure the pulse.

so i got a little itchy and visited the site and saw that they had some dual speaker ear phones (one armature, one diaphragm) its pretty cool, so i taught i'd pick it up. made a MI account, placed in my KF address, and viola, it arrived.

i was very happy with the two mi golden piston headphones i bought back then. they were really really good. but i lost one and gave another away. so yeah.... taught i'd get myself this new ones, and owh bow... so worth it.. the bass and hi's are so clear.

so i needed to top up till i hit hundered to get the free shipping, threw in a powerbank, fan and extra mi band strap.

i think my favorite color now is blue =P (last time it was.. red?)

andways, happy with the purchase, thank God i was home when GDex arrived.

and yeah, shold i get the XiaoMi weighing scale.... and XIao Yi action camera too? xD sigh not sure if my next phone will be a google nexus of a xiaomi.... (the head phones volum functions dont work properly with other UI's)

i want to go full google, but then they dont make all that much products .. yet.... and xiao mi can use google apps very much too.

Zebra ts-3 400

I first saw it in e-books PJ. Bought the pen version. 3 years ago.

Then I found it so convenient fitting into my small survival box. I just had to get the mechanic version too.

Hence, I looked back for it.. In over 5+ book shops.

Finally found it today in popular imago. Thank God

I'm happy.

Jabra play

Got these for rm99 at the digi store. Retail sells for RM 200 plus. They were supposed to only be purchasable with a digi plan upgrade. Owh well :)

Nice thing I like about them is they can plug any headphone in to the receiver. So means at least I still get to choose the drivers.

The first set broke when the staff tried to show me how it works. But the immediately changed it to a brand new set. Love the customer service.

Technology addiction

I would buy a Motorola droid turbo if I didn't tell my self I would get a Rm80 cellular dumb phone after my moto G. I love my moto G... It does all a smartphone needs to do, plus the dual sim let's me keep my cellular digi number paired with maxis mobile broadband. 1Gb data for RM 18 per month.. Not bad eh. Enough for wassap, FB messenger, typing this post and other light browsing.

But why did I decide to get out of this tech rat race? I hate myself always being constantly desiring the newest gear to come out. I just cant settle for what I have currently... My Rm3 knife, my cheap watch and torchlight... Generic fire lighters...

I feel like I live more the leas I have. Minimalist. I just need one 2tb hard drive and that's enough storage .. I gotta get rid of what I don't use or read... Cut down.. Simplify and live life...

I'm going to go back to the pen and paper.. Screw trying to write everything down in evernote, Google keep, and virtual Calender's.

All I need is you my dear blogspot. You shall be the one to log all my memories.

Screw virtual to do list. They don't work for me :(
