did trees die before the fall of man?

i wonder if trees ever died before the fall of man.

was death caused by 'sin'. adam and eve's disobedience to God's command not to eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge?

heaven, what if it really is like a place with no suffering,

where everyone just accepts their lot in life,

i dont want to have 'responsibilities' after i die, (yeah i'm kinda lazy, and the word kinda makes me think of 'work')

however, if it was do something i'd love to do for eternity i wouldn't mind...

what if heaven is like that, being able to do what we were intended to do from the start

what did God intent for me to do? what was His plan?

hmm...

in nature, everything plays its part,

every organism has its role,

no one is bad nor good,

things grow, reproduce seeds, die

bacteria decomposes the dead into nutrients

for the next generation to use,

it's all a cycle really,

a circle of life,

death and rebirth,

and endless cycle

(i guess that's why the Buddhist keeps trying to escape it)

hmmm..

heaven

where everything is in perfect harmony with each other

no more suffering, no more pain,

no more wars, only peace....

will there still be freedom?

will there still be individuality?

how could a place be conflict free if everyone was still able to keep their own mind,

transformation,

the process of sanctification here on earth

that's why its so important,

this Christianity thing,

it's preparing each of us for eternity in a way no other process would

heaven isn't a goal, it isn't a destination

it's a process, it's a place where we come to at the end,

it's what's beyond the journey,.. after we've walked it

and it's in this journey,

that we face the struggles, obstacles and challenges in life

that would give us the opportunity to make choices,

that would mould our character

yes...

this is why we're still on earth,

we're not ready for heaven yet

keep on living

there will be joy

Bee pairs holding each other in a ball

One of the weirdest phenomena i've seen in my life. was sitting down on a bench just as dawn was breaking. the air cold and chilly.... and suddenly these bees started dropping down from the tree above. they came down mostly in pairs and were... almost always hugging each other making a ball.

peculiar. they must be cold too

give thanks

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

i wonder how he could stil be happy in prison,
eating his food with gratitude.

it's amazing,
the joy that he had inside his heart,

despite what was goin on around him
he still choose to give thanks

conscious. how

this body,

is it... an extension on something? my mind? His Will?
why does it exist as it is, why can i physically see it, confirm it with sight, with touch, with smell
am i really just a blob of elements held together by biological processes,

is DNA a language and alterable code?
what is the next step beyond this skin's boundaries.

why? why?

what makes up my conscious thoughts, my "self"
am i a ghost in a shell?
would my body be like the Ship of Theseus?

destiny, fate, whatever.
collective, all in all, pluralism, divinity,
what is the truth.

the mind separates from the body when we feed our fleshly desires.

why does the mind feel like it's detached from the body?
because the mind is in conflict with the desires of the flesh.

the more we feed the body (by giving in to temptations, after all it's a free choice)
we strengthen the flesh, and hence the mind feels more and more absent.

if we hang in the middle always tripping the line,
sooner or later we start to feel "depressed" as if there is a great dis-conjunction with the world.

and then, we are more and more likely to.
be.
lost.

however, if the flesh takes over all the way, in which we just give into the desires of it,
lust, temptations and evil.. materialism.

it becomes who we are. and we start to be comfortable with ourselves.

where is the soul then?
holiness and our conscience

what if everything around us was just, air.

what if,

God was so powerful.
That actually He only made one of us.
Like you (the reader) or I (the writer)... am actually the only person in this world world?
and that everything, everyone around us... is just... made up, imaginary (to a point of become reality)

that, the people we meet and talk to are all actually just like.. air?
that the whole purpose of this one human universe is so that we could.. develop our existence,
in this world of one person, we cannot redefine our purpose of existing,

but it is still our job to.. make the choices, that will help us fulfill why we are actually here.

well ofcause, i believe very much that my friends beside me are actually humans and not just a figment of my imagination.

i could never imagine being the only person on earth, that would we very... lonely.

facebook's philosophy

i wonder what philospohy facebook teachers us.
and that if it is possible to reset the news feed preference.

i think it boarders around us being addicted to "likes"
getting attention, very narcissistic, surrounding ourselves in a bubble of our own kind.

very little room to question what we currently like,
unless... we joing a very purposeful forum that specifically discusses things like that

sacred geometry

so, drawing circles over each other...
and lines... and being a lil obsessed with triangles

stumbbled upon something called kabbalah
its a cult btw. well explained here:

http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Kabbalah/kabbalah_exposed.htm

but what makes it interesting is that, people could come up with this by themselves without having to learn about it. how would i know? i used to draw hexagons in high school when playing with the compass set. now i dont use one anymore. but i would sure like to get my hands on it and try again.

its fun for art. but things like merkaba, flower of life, tree of life, seed of life, i really dont think there's a spiritual element to it, even if there was, it wouldn't be one from God.

(some chirstians are crazy about the ratio dimensions of the cross.. really?)

this website sorta explains in brief what people belief in the geometrical shapes: http://www.ka-gold-jewelry.com/

but yeah, take it with a pinch of salt, i dont think its wise to go into if you're not grounded with God's Word.

btw, the golden ratio, i.e. fibonacci's number is pretty cool. especially how elements in nature resemble it, such as snail shells, pine cones and sunflowers.

"Statistical worldview: a way of seeing the world that permits understanding in the face of uncertainty, and simplicity in the face of complexity." - Garrett Grolemund

i wonder why people can be bored.

Cornerstone of Ephesian church is Jesus (not elders)

in relation to the article "church-needs-stop-pandering-trends"
here's something from a messaged with dearly beloved ones

although i agree much with what Relevant writes, yet let us remember that they are also still written by man. One downside is that they dont really put Bible verses in (but of cause we could link verses in our memory to the contents of what they write). anyways that being said, i think all churches are unique in their own sense that each caters to the need of the community around. For example, as the Holy Spirit leads the leaders to start ministering to say... the university students around... of cause they have to run it in a way that is relevant to the younger generation... and as long as the word is preached (the whole counsel, not just parts of it) , there is repentance to God and faith in Jesus, the leader doesn't look for personal profit (important!).. and careful attention is given to the flock (and the elders themselves!) against wolfs like how Paul' last words to the ephesian elders encompasses it : Acts 20:28 - "Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood." at the end of the day, no matter how it is run... those who still choose to leave a church after all this is done ... even Paul said "I am innocent of the blood of all" .. as we cant force someone to stay, its their choice and life anyway. take some time to to ponder on Paul's heavily weighted speech (made light by sharing the yoke with Christ) that starts from verse 17... which is to me the passage that all elders MUST read...
i wonder why sometimes we are so critical of how other people run their churches. didn't Paul write a letter to the Ephesians saying that "Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit."
