expired DIgi

 so my digi number expired..

its the first number i got when i was in... form 5?

i used it in sooo many places..

it expired.. and i forgot to reload it...

and then it got.. like.. terminated..

thank God i remembered it during the 25 day window..

and Digi was able to reinstate the card..

phewh.....

i kinda knew this was gonnna happen one day..

 cause it has happened to Crystal.. and many others...

just didn't think it would happen to me..

sigh.

owh well..

what to do next to keep a malaysian number active

Biceps Femoris tendon out of placement.... and popped back in after few weeks

 i thoguth I was having an iliotibial band pain on my right knee. the outer lower part, there's this big tendon/ligament. it was out of alignment. maybe cycling/badminton/wrong posture for too long. thought it ws IBTS... but i think it's actually the biceps femoris tendon....

was having it just after the first week of the holiday (maybe the 29th Jan?)..  now i think it is gone. after almost three weeks  with it...

hopefully

i kept feeling it, especially when bending the knee. sometimes when walking..

tonight. on the 16th.. i was lying down in bed... bent the legs in to criss cross them... and opened up to the side. heard/felt a pop/click..... yasssss.. i think the ligament/tendon popped back into its rightful place...

was so scared to move.. just moved.... really slowly.

thank you Lord... there's very few delights in life.. such as this.

having a small gnawing discomfort for weeks.. just suddenly go away when things are put right

marks a new season in my life
i'm in NZ now

took a 12 hour flight
SIN-MEL-CHC

immigration, had to clear singapore, then melbourn, then NZ
flight to CHC, nice stewardess, sat beside a fellow malaysian, a chef.
customs, asked about my working holiday visa. so smooth.
declared that my hiking boots were used in the forest, nice lady, just took it in for disinfection
then though the bag scanners. nice =)

Went to the ANZ bank at Ferrymead, thx Michelle

Went to a medical clinic, thx Dr Bernard from Sarawak

Went to a car workshop, thx Mr Daniel from Taiwan
lol crystal they all rage bought transmission fluid.. poured in normal Automatic transmission fluid for a CVT..... it's too slippery. haha. changed the brake pads, they were realllly worn out.

Went to CHC central, food... thanks KeXin and Chiao Wenn
such a pleasent night. from 12pm on 17th in singapore to 11pm on 28th in NZ.. didn't shower
gah.. itchy.. but.. its okay now... thankfully

this place is full of nice people,
now i'm in a homestay.

ah changed my google play location from malaysia to NZ to install the gomoney ANZ banking app,
only can change location once a year.. so i guess this is the place =) haha

the landlady is suuuuuuper friendly.
she keeps on trying to find a adaptor for my laptop =)
thankfully NZ uses the same voltage as malaysia,
i bought a head to swap it out on my plug.

went to the gym for about an hour.
came back to do stretching for 30 minutes
while waiting for my breakfast to cool down.
milo doesn't need 30 minutes to cool, it was cold when i drank it,
along wit some hup seng biscuits from God knows when..
wanna finish off my food before i go off in.. three days time.

the body is a wonderful thing to live in
take good care of it and be present with it
feel the tensions in the ligaments when stretching
loosen out muscles by massaging trigger points
take time to breath and be in the hear and now,
don't rush

Homeopathy ... mmhmm i wonder if all those nights having leg pains when i was a kid.

He would wake up use yoko-yoko and wrap my leg in a bandage.
And rub it to keep it warm (which i still do, when i get muscle leg pains)

But above all that, i think what really heals was the love that he showed.

Strong winds

We could have died.

Took a plane from Kuching to KK
The pilot tried to land it twice but the winds were too strong.
So we had to come back to Kuching in the end.
Will take a flight to back tmr.

Brushed my teeth at the airport toilet.
Also to scout out if it was possible to shower there.

Took a shower at the airport.
Trying to see if i could be a backpacker.
It works!

Just needed: my clean clothes in the small blue bag, Soap & shampoo. Water was cold, but still okay. I rather feel fresh and clean than sticky after walking the whole day (Sarawak has amazing history btw, learnt about Margaret, the White Ranee of Sarawak. Quite inspiring her life, her delights in classic hobbies such as reading, writing poems, painting and making music on the piano).

Not just that, she was passionate about women empowerment and indulging in the local customs instead of hanging around her own kind.

Regret waking up late and just staying at the hotel skipping breakfast with the gang.

I think I'm going to write a backpacker's list.

It was a free photobook from airasia, 40 pictures. I could have activated it before march and then slowly taken the time to select the photos until 31 may. now the chance is over. sigh.

I also missed adding one variable into the models. Altitude. i have to freaking do everything again, the modelling, the data entry in progress sheet, the presence absence in DIVA.. sigh

And i missed the MyBRAIN scholarship application.. shit

all the deadlines were on 31st march.

I got saman for my driving license being expired for a year too, RNM70.. renewed it and paid the saman.

Well, atleast I had a good time with my darling.

card reader slot on laptop not functioning

i think my card reader for the laptop almost died..
when i sorta almost  ejected the card but didn't (half press micro pressed but it didn't pop out)

restarted the computer and even reinstalled the drive..
shined a torch light and poked it with a needle...

it all didn't work...
