money and religion

some put their trust in money, finances.
others put build their whole life on chasing some other personal thing they think is of value..

of utmost value.

the word controls people,
by money...
or by religion.

lords control their samurais by a code called bushido
the samurai thinks he's doing is lord and people good.

by sacrificing so much.

by is it all worth the sacrifice?
what if the master we serve isn't all that deserving of our service?

who is the one we want to subject ourselves to?
if it isn't the King of a Kingdom that will never come to and end
then it is only temporary. even if it's building up the castle for our own selves.

brainwashed.
waiting for the end to come
that 'glorious' end.

being willing to forsake the desires and pleasure of this world in the current day.
why

is money evil? no

it is just a tool, which can be used for good or bad.
why are some so sad, when they dont get to earn as much as others?

when they can instead look and see how much they can help and give to others with what they have.

but some people know how powerful money is
and use it to control others, instead of bless them

evil, is in the intention

religion,
once it becomes law
and follwed just for the sake of it
that's where it derails

God saves us,
not by anything we can do
but it doesn't mean we stay the same
living out our life the same as before making Jesus our Lord
something inside us changes,
we start wanting to follow His will
we work out of faith with fear and trembling
we dont stay the same

accept the gift of salvation as it is,
a gift.
but when the Gift is received,
it doesn't leave us unchanged.

universalism and relativism
i grew up in an armenian culture,
Christ died for us on the cross
it is up to us to choose  to accept Christ or not.
it is the gift of God, free will
to choose Him or not.

but now in my latter years
i think back and see,
if God already knew what was going to happen in the future,
doesn't it mean that we already knows if we would choose Him or otherwise?
Hence, isn't what we're going to do already predestined in a sort of sense.

predestination, to be save,
one day,
to be seated with Him in heaven.

but that doesn't give me the excuse to be lazy,
while here on earth.
no that doesn't mean what heaven is.

heaven is here, on earth,
when we pray the Lord's prayer.
Let it be, as it is in heaven.

here, right here
right now.

don't wait for the future,
make it now.

make the choice to be alive in Chirst,
right here,
right now.

love others,
forgive
don't bear grudges,
let of of anger,
let go of the chance to say "i'm right"
"i told you so"
