Yeah, Synloong probably produces a different kind of salt than sodium chloride (NaCl).
Oh well good thing we are science students!

I guess the reference to soil might have brought up some correlation towards fertilizers.
But just because it was mentioned, doesn't mean the antithetical statements
(What salt was useful for soil?
Or for piles of poop..) were implied. Or were they? Jesus having God's omniscient probably could have been talking about acid-alkali salts that were good for soils.. ahead of its current time or setting...
But yeah Christianity is cool like that. Stuff gets revealed to those whom are ready. And those that aren't in the moment will probably get it later on.
