Black gorilla tape

Got myself some duct tape on dope from home-fix. Finally something off my mind :)

Wrong age

We have already gone past the age of enlightenment. Inspired students used to flock with much passion and desire to the University of Edinburgh to apprentice under James Black.

However, just like how we don't study about James Watt in automotive anymore, so too should we move on from studying chemistry that isn't the interest of our age nowadays.

Children get things too easily. The chemicals and concoctions in the lab are memorised forcefully without any curiosity or awe.

And people from the outskirts whim can't even string proper sentences together are also forced to go through the same centralised system for easier, lazier evaluation.

Of cause the people in the cities would do better. If there isn't an alternative form of education available to personally cater to the surroundings and environment of how a child grows up.

A wise man once told me "you can see the quality if life a child will grow up with just by one road: the road from his house, to the hospital he gets born in" .. If it passes by schools and modern infrastructure, the good for him. If I passes by shacks and plantations.....

Never the less.. With the advent of technology, anyone can study whatever they want to trough open source online courses. Anyone can form a personalised education system that fits them.

But curiosity is killed at the early stages where it is most active and also most vulnerable to being snipped at the bud.

Kids growing up nowadays don't need to learn how smartphone come about by studying basic electronic engineering in school/university... It's like.. Learning the building blocks all over again...

The foundations have already been set. Young minds should be focused to build on these foundations.

A child should learn how to develop apps that run off the platforms already available. Hence, code school and data source.

If the future of the country is to be a better place, the formal education needs to be revamped and catered to what the current generation of creative students are most potentially interested in.

Leave the past behind, embrace.. Change

Virtue

In Thomas Hobbes utilarian and consequentialist principal virtue is that which provides "the greatest happiness for the greatest numbers"

I see how it can work, sacrificing the minority for the sake of the majority (or the greater good). It is impossible to please everyone and make all happy least we end up like Romantically Apocalyptic .. Where everyone gets what they want though a Neural Interface. Or a movie "the congress".

However I don't think that giving people what they want all the time is the best thing to do. Long term effects show themselves slowly. So sometimes we have to with hold back from pleasing people all the time, for the sake of a better future.

Doesn't mean because the majority agrees to it, makes it good and acceptable in God's eyes.

Sbc ps amos

"You show me your friends, and I show you your future."

Proverbs 17:17 "a friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity"

Poverty: material, spiritual, relational.

They have nothing, yet I'm jealous of something they have.  They depend in each other, they have community.

Why people have less close friends? Increasing working hours. Technology: people used to hag out outside of their house. But when air conditioning was introduced .. People spend time inside. Smartphone. Create a wall. Explosion of social media.

Does moving forward have to come at expense at losing the past?

We all need a friend whom:
David: Samuel: a friend who makes you better.

"Your problem is that you look at what people look at. But God looks at the heart. "

1 Samuel 16:12 - "this is the one"

Jonathan: A friend whom gives us spiritual strength.
Nathan: A friend whom tells us the truth.

Rest

"The more comfortable we are with mystery in our journey, the more rest we will know along the way" - John Eldredge

Empath - Only one Way to solve it to have Life, this is the Truth

something about jumping from relationship to relationship

"I've always known it in the back of my head, but I'm only now understanding myself that I am addicted to the beginnings of relationships. In the past few months, following the end of a short but intense relationship, I've really enjoyed being a single lady. At the same time, I've also enjoyed dating. Dating multiple people. But the thing is, once I get to know them comfortably, once the relationship arrives at the point of sex (however long that takes), I'm not as interested. And I think it's because I'm addicted to getting to know people, not knowing them. I'm usually disappointed once I do. So instead of looking for that impossible long-term. yes, I'm allowing myself to have fun with the Maybes.
And I'm having fun. I'm just not sure how long it can last." - an exhibition in Singapore Art Museum

came across it reading a friend's blog. whom elaborated she wanted to try out that lifestyle.

ah, dear heart, are you tempted too?
least you find another hidden desire, polygamy
dont act on it, least you sin
present all to the Father, whom heals us in our fallen nature
transforming and sanctifying us day by day

i only know of one person that can surprise you each and everyday of your life.
on whose love is never ending, never ceasing, and which has been there even before we exsisted.
He is the answer to that searching heart.

"There is none like you,
No one else can touch my heart like You do
I could search for all eternity long
and find, there is non like You"

Q: Can a sinner serve in the worship team?

1 Corinthians 4:2-5
"Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God."

Q: Can a sinner serve in the worship team?
A: Remember that a place in ministry is something entrusted to us, and not achieved by our own efforts

Q: Should we judge other sinners?
A: We often sometimes do, but as a Christian its not so much on US judging THEM. but more of, if someone else judges me then what do i do? as a Christian, we should know that what matters is God's judgement on us. So if the sinner thinks he is being judged by the church (human courts) than he really needs to take a look inside himself and the relationship between him and the Judge.
*btw, we shouldn't even judge ourselves (least we judge wrongly), we should seek God and see what He thinks of us

Q: Just because i think it is right, does it make it right?
A: even if you had passionate, genuine, all-out faith/belief in something that isn't true doesn't make it true. Even if you think you are not doing wrong, doesn't make you innocent.

Q: what is "innocent" in refference to?
A: To the law set by the One who will judge at the end of the day. Remember: He demands obedience, not sacrifice (1 Sam 15:22)

Q: what if i still really wanted to serve without any bad intentions?
A: then as a fellow loving child of God, by all means go ahead, when the Lord comes He will know the motives of your heart in all that you've said and acted out. And to each who listens to Him, they shall receive something only a God of love can do.
