19th september.. mmhmm very familiar date
something special happened on this day.. four or five years back
oO will i every live up to the comitment i made.. back then, when i was so young?
well i sure do hope so, making such an important covenant at that immature unripe age, sometimes i wondered if it would have been better for me to make the promise ... a lil bit later in life
i'll never know the answer ... but i sure do know, the choice i made, was a good one, it was the good one. now all i have to do is live up to the commitment i made, believing is not enough.. one must belong to the thing he's faith leans on, the One he puts his hope in, the One who's ... words can ever always be trusted.
yes indeed even as lisa poped up from nowhere to and asked for a random verse, the first thing that came to my mind was
2 corintians 5:17
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
mmhmm .. submerging into the waters of the pool that day.. i should have died .. not literally physically drowned to death .. die as in die to self .. and live for christ
well .. not doing a very good job currently.. on both sides... whether its dying to one's selfish wants and pleasures ... or praying that i'll use each day as if it were a gift from You.
*gahh, just tried to kill an irritating mosquito underneath the computer table.... failed.. miserably *
now.. sorry for that show of un-loving ness ... sometimes.. you just can tolerate certain stuff in life...
owh well, with a broken chain of taught, i'm too lazy to think try to connect the chain back, i shall end here
to those who shares this same special date as myself namely uncle foo, jack, nat, sue ann, erwin, untie christine and another lady... (i'm not sure of her name, wait no.. i don't even know her name!!) ... and especially my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ ......... remember, the old has gone, and the new has come so...
ROCK ON FOR GOD! XD
uleung- signinged ..and made a promise about something =P i hope you do too =D one day...

i liked this post cousin =)
it's great to look back at important milestones in your past (llike baptism, in this case). gives us motivation to go on, reminds us why we're doing the things we do.
may you continue to walk with God, for many milestones to come. =)
