first of all choose the place u want to start ur fire... make sure it is not near... any flamebel stuff... ect.. a barrel of petrol.. XP.. ah yes.. and make sure there's no dog shyt any where
then u clear a nice spot for ur fire.. (u might wann consider digging a hole if u can.. in this case i did not because i had no diggin' tools with me)... anyways... the things to bring are.. matches.. u should beable to start a fire with just that.. XP.. lolz.. but if ur lazy like me... u can bring some things to help u out.. alot.... these are: a good fan (the best are those small electric fans..i lost mine.. so i had to use this plastic fan. which is good.. but needs more energy to use.. XP) yes i know i'm lazy.. and a "tea light candle.. XP... hah but as u can see... i have used this same spot before to light fires
and. set up a platform something like this.. (this is to raise thecandle so it will be able to burn the sticks later on).. built about 3 layers of sticks... oh yeah.. if u dug a hole... then u'll need to make more layers for platform..built a "wall" behinde the paltform too.... this will.. help conserve heat.... haha.. then light ur candle and start stacking sticks on em' !!.. next: how to stcak sticks?
see.. the good thing about using a candle is that u'll have a steady flame for a long tim.. i rep. LONG time.. yeah.. especially if ur using a tea-light candle.. XP.. u can start to stack surprizingly big sticks on top... u won't have to start with those crappy kindelers or twigs.. u can go stright to pencil thick sticks.. haha.. was quite dumb of me.. i was doing this after it just rained.. XP.. the woods.. were... wet... XP haha.. if u can .. do this after a sunnyday when all the wood are dry... (as so to make less smoke!)... and one more important thing!! when u stack the sticks make sure that they criss cross each other.. avoit making sticks parelle to each other.. this will cause the fire to "sufficate" and die.... it also decreases the area of wood that is getting heat!!.. this is really important!!.. wether u are starting a fire with a candle.. or just one match stick.. STACK UR WOOD PROPERLY!!!!.. keep on criss-crossing them.. from small sticks to big sticks.. i dunoo why.. but i like to put the big sticks in very fast.. then put a few smaller ones on it.. and rep....untill u get it in to a so called "teepe" shape kinda thing
this is around something that u should get yea?.... mind make sure ur face is not in the smoke.... now u can start using the fan.. when there's a flame and not only jsut the candle burning... haha.. look up in the air now and u'll see a lot of smoke! XP
and u can start fannig yea.. u'll find this is much much much more easier than if u din't bring a fan.... and will have to blow by mouth.... if God is good.. He may give u a lil breeze to aid u.. but take care.. as the wind can blow the "amber" to far grounds and may cause the seroundings to ignite and cathe fire too.. dangerous stuff... haiz yes kerwiin is a poser!.. XP
feel the warmth of the fire in the heart of ur work!!.. a turely great sight!... treasure it! haha
pyromanic!!!!!! u'll be rewarded with something like this if u keep on fanning.. now u can burn almost anything!!!!.... just carefully stcak the sticks/logs up.. in a "teepe" shape!!
mission accomplsih!!.. dang couldn't photo of the fire.. could go close enoght of it to be in the pic.... or we might have barbecue heads.. XP
after u acomplish what ever u wanted.... make sure uoff the fire!!!.. a few ways to off the fire..:
- best way is ofcause to pour water on it.. make sure u pour on ever single amber
- put dirt/soil on top of it.. but becareful as the organic material in the soil may catch fire
- spread the fire out like what i did in the pic
make sure u leave no trace that u made a fire!!!!.. if u dug a hole earlier.. u can jsut fill it up wth soil.. (as the fire burns.. the ash/carcole fell into the hole..)..... if u din't dig the hole.... make sure the fire is off... and spread dirt ovber it.. thorw the un-burned wood into trees or bushes... or u can keep them for future use...
