An utterly weird phenomena it is,
How an adolescence of certain age,
Gets some hormonal imbalance in the head,
And is pissed off at any random word said.

To surpass this evil urge inside me,

author's comments: hmm this was one of the much earlier tries at 'poetry' that i found written in some ancient book.. gonna post them up just for keeps sake. this particular one was a cin chai attempt and didn't have any nice flow to it. but yeah, i guess it helps me to speak my mind out. haven fun reading this collection =D btw its written a long long time ago accordnig to those dates, most of the things have passed and minght possibly not have anything to do with what i currently feel, but be sure it was something la at those moments.

we'll all die in the end anyway. tough i do not look forward to the end physically (i really would like to enjoy life on earth), yet i wonder how paul could have said he longed to be with the Lord.

when will my soul ever have that great a desire. that everyday it would be a fresh one. hmmm..

"keep eternity in mind" .. heard it so many times. yet it is so hard to actually apply. why is it hard? shouldn't doing the right thing be easy? why is it so much simpler to indulge in sin and yet we have to strive and fight for righteousness... what really is the breast plate of righteousness that i'm teaching my small pre-teens group about...

car accident, casio F201, Sennheiser HD 380 Pro

 so waiyan got into an accident. at federal. she was going straight, her right of way, green light...
and a car came from the left, it was red ligh for him, but the one furter down was green. trolling light.
so he banged her read left door, she lost control, and went up the curb on the left and into a pole.

thank God she's.. unharmed.

 made a police report, super long. so many things to get... car manufecture date la, insurance la, blablabla...

no matter how safe you drive, there will be some accidents that are cause by others and not one's self.
it is inevitable, it happens. owh well... the guy who bang her was really nice, young guy, polite, genuine. caring.

owh, and my trusty watch broke after all these years... had it since.. errr...  crazy long ago..  form..1?

and i proud to say it has only changed its battrey once.... was quite hard to open up.. lots of mini clips and a shortcircuite reset required.. but.. anyways thats all done.... its gonna retire now.. after all the mud and grim i've put it through in scout camps, all the swimming and water torrents, all the speed works on bikes, etc etc... it did break before, but i mange to find the small piece and glue it back.. this time a frisbee hit it and yeah... the chassis broke.. =( oowh well... time to move on and not be so sentimental

and.... cash converter was selling a shenhizer HD380 pro at RM299.... went back home to check out the reviews.. went back the next day to grab it.. it was too late.. gone di!!! =(

but it wasn't what saved me.

it was God.
it was a God given chance to live again.
i realized that we could die anytime.

i stood by at the federal highway... just a few meters from where broken pieces of my bike lay... the cars we're zooming past... they looked and were moving so much faster...
80km/h seemed to be slow when i was still with them in that crazy flow of machineries

stopping and standing at the the side of things.. to just look.. gave me time to see ... a bigger picture ... and cherish that

FIREEE!!

so i was riding back from paradigm at midnight after watching Les Miserables, courtesy of big brother
when i saw the road lights starting to flicker.. and just go completely off.. the once brightly lit road became as dark as ..... a kampung road xD

at the traffic lights i saw an electric pole on FIRE! ...  interesting....the poles code: "SS24/1 pole 23"

so i just parked the bike at the boom gate, hoped in and took out my handphone.. (wow! yes i have one that works!) ... not knowing which number to dial .. i type 999 .. (with a little fear that would treat my call as a prank call) and told the suuuuper blur phone operator what was happening... she asked the same question like a billion times..

then finally said "saya sambung you ke bomba" .... and then i had to talk to them... but they already knew all the details.. cool

so after the phone call... i was waiting and just staring at the flames... feeling an occasional bust of electric-charged static in the air when the wires sparked, i presume when the insulation melted and the wires touched each other.

i was darn scared to run across, thinking if the wires snapped they could just fall in a whip like behavior due to the tension and ... maybe.. just maybe touch me.. and ... people will find a roast carcass on the floor tomorrow

but i had to do it anyway, cross my heart and hope to die... placed the helmet on and gave me a sense of safety.. ran to the house (oh, its no.1 btw) that was right under it to warn the people staying inside, before i could even ring the door bell, their two dogs jumped up and started a barking symphony .. (wow, dogs actually work?) but i rang it just in case .. and then an old uncle peeped out the window .. and it look to me that we was abit paranoid of me xD (i was still wearing my helmet) .. but i just shouted 'fire' in whatever langue i could

he came down anyway after... what seemed like a long time, and i pointed it to him for his own eyes to see.. his face was epic, eyes wide open, mouth agape, right hang adjusting his specs to make sure he's seeing the real thing...

so ok that was done... mmhmm what else to do while waiting... i timed the bomba's response..

while waiting, the security came.. and tought i was a thief .. lol... so i took of my helmet and pointed the fire to them.... then they like.. "ohhhh"

.. haha so 10 minutes.. then the heroic fireman, all hunky and tall and ready to save the world... yeah rite... they were sooooooo round!!!!!!!!!!!! xD the fire jacket looked like it couldn't even zip up pass their bellies~!!

anyways by then the fire was already dying down and didn't look any more scary than a candle on a birthday cake

owh, the bomba was a lil confuse getting in too, due to all the boom gates, lol.... if anything else was on fire i.e. a house or something, don't count much on the fireman to arrive before most of the things have finshed burning down to ashes.... unless you live like.. beside the bomba station in ss2

anyway, when the bomba arrived... they stared at it.. and told me... they can't do anything about it.. ????????? and he told me to call TNB next time at 1454 ... how the *bleep* do you want me to remember TNB's number?????  so we just stood underneath and watch the fire as tough it was some really delayed new year's firework that forgot to go off a week ago

and then the fire man started telling me about.. "bila api kecil ia kawan, bila besar ia.....?" lol, good thing school thought us peribahasa .. and stuff like, if you sprayed water at it, the water would conduct the.. blablabla... mhmm "you don't sayyy"

boy, how i wish i had marsh mellows to roast .....

so tthe bomba just left while it was still burning and asked us to wait for TNB to come..... and i was like, i ain't gonna wait the whole night here... who knows how many hours till they respond... so i told the house owner to have a pleasant night and that Jesus loves him.. and he was like "brotherrrrr, thank you so much" haha.... good to know i'm not a perceived thief anymore

so...goodnight... hope you learnt something about our police and bomba from this post..

1.30.. my mom started shouting: "there's a man at our car!"

so i climbed the fence.. hoping to short cut him.... and sure enough i saw him climb out of yuk chai the other side... this time i was closer to him so i ran.. and sprinted ... 1 meter away from him.. he looked behind, and ducked.. i couldn't stop, hit his crouched body, flew over him.. and made a roll

turned around garbed him with a red neck choke (thanks syanon for training submission grappling with me)

clamed him down, and started to talk to him. in BM

his name? sining bin adnan. from sabah. 41 years old.. currently looking for a job. used to work in a factory.. McD's and KFC wont employ him cause they want young kids. he told me he took RM3 frolm the car... a few coins dropped out along the way

tues: taylors lakeside with poh yee, kah keng and tuck choi. we won first place in their amazing race. what a nice library they have. their round ball shapped chairs are really comfortable (i think from ikea?)

weds: rock climbing at madmonkeyz wangsa maju with ken. we went in one hour earlier than the opening time. the lady there was really nice. four hours of rock climbing is fun! came back all the scouts equipment kena taken from my house, they (campers) dropped by while i was out.

thurs: bumz around. went out with joshua and kerwiin to refund a fallout3 non-working disc at atria and also later to look at paintball guns in glomac (al fariz there). went back to his "penthouse" to play borderlands and morden warfare 2. (walau, play those games like super alot edi) also fixing poh yee's computer. i'm your grinnin' sapper: anything you need fixed?

there is much less development in the field of drugs nowadays. why cause they got no new disease to go against. so what? we come up with some new random unknown disease so that we can sell drugs.

like. this vitamin is good for you. take this supplement that cost 5k. =D have a nice day, cause i know i will.

and so you see.. placebo.. believing. the human mind is capable in achieving many things as long as you just believe. (some how, either by deception or something else that convinces you). it is so strong that if you can think of a burning sensation to be real enough, it might affect you hormones and chemistry in you body somehow so that blisters would appear! yes thats how powerful believing can be.

people who have cancer. will keep on trying ways to cure it. like drinking turtle shell soup, or visiting a china doctor. and do all sorts of stuff.. cause it gives them hope. well yeah, sure it cost a bomb. but statistics show that people with  4th stage cancer have healed. hope.

and there was this dude in some hidden land... where there were shamans. well this guy wanted to show that the hokey-pokey of the shamans were all fake stuff and they were bluffing. so he got a sifu bomoh to teach him the "tricks of the trade" which were meant to be a secret from everyone. and this was it: they would bite themselves in the lip or tongue, soak the blood in a some cotton wool so that it looks like some kinda tumor... then transfer it to their hand and "pull" it out from the patient. something like a magician pulling a coin from your ear.... and lo and behold by placebo, the person would believe he has been healed... and by believing he does get better!

and so now he knew the trick, he was gonna expose it, but just as he was about to do so... a woman came up to him and ask him to heal her sick father... she pleaded to him. so he went. then he did his hokey-pokey .. pulled out the tumor and tadaa.. a few weeks later her father started getting better...

he decided to keep the shaman's secret.

so then moving on from that story, you have stuff about magnetic therapy and blablabla magic stone... et cetera

these demo people who sell this stuff sure make alotta money.
well they did some experiments about it, one of it was making this sick guy get treated by two bars of magnets.. so on the first session he felt a 20% increase in health..... then for the next few sessions they substituted the magnets with two plain planks of wood but painted so that they look exactly like the magnets.... and the guy continued his treatment without knowing they swapped it..... and he always said he feels better than before...

phew.. i was supposed to have add maths test on chapter 3: integration yesterday (monday)

on monday night, thank you waiyan for teaching me about integration, yes i know i don't know nuts about differentiation either but... i could do some questions in the test =P

alright more point on school:

-we start wayyy wayy to early. didn't you know what kids now adays are nocturnal? staying up until 1 am atnight... is is so hard as to make school start later? like maybe 9am? why? why is is so hard?? just start two hours later! teachers should not be teaching a class thats half/full of sleepy students. and the worst part, we can eat or even bring sweets to school to keep us awake.

-and we want to change english back to bm. zzz? erm.. ok do i still need to elaborate on the point? yeah i heard a story that when they first changed bm to english, the university students we're writing lines that the lecturers couldn't make any sense off. but as time passed, the lecturer could see the improving more and more as the next batch came in. so were doing good! why the !@#$%^&* do you want to change english back into BM?!?!?!?!?!?! its like, advancing and then taking a step leaping backwards.

i was sick on sunday night. my body was feeling hot, and my bones were aching like, seriosly pain, like a thousand needles were poking into my ulna and tibia .. took two panadols, gosh i haven't taken these for a long time... and slept under a cozy comforter.. ah the joy of rest

ah and it rained really heavy today.(tuesday) got stuck in school. one moment the sky is dark, i was thinking should i make a run for it? take my chances to go back home? or stay back until the meeting is over? well i took the latter choice and i ended up stranded in the R&R. the worst part, i had tuition at 5.15! so guess what? my loving mom read my mind and came to pick me up =D (yeap my bike is currently at school, i hope its still there =P)

yeap, today, the interclass debate for form 5's in smk taman sea, has come to an end.

congratz to 5A, you deserved your win, good job honson and wei yuen, and to shannen, i too truly believed you were the best speaker too.

and to my fellow 5BR team, sorry i wasn't really cheering for you guys, i guess when a person looses to any team (its just this psychological thingy ya kno'), that person will cheer for the rivals in the next round of the team they just lost too. well, generally la.(call it 'unsport-manship' or whateverlah) but notice i said i wasn't 'really' cheering.... means i did give my support to you guys, just that i wasn't shouting =P heyy... who doesn't want their own class to win huh? i wasn't really cheering for either team anyway..

5Br, you were the government of the topic "this house believes that the school system should be abolished" ... it is like a du-uhh "who ever is the govn of this topic sure win" just like what i thought for the semi finals topic "teenagers should be allowed to vote" (oh jia wen, you were recording it with a camcorder rite? can you please post it up on you-tube or something, thanks!) ... i was like, sure the opposition will win it.

but i guess you guys proved me wrong the first time. it really depends on how well you elaborate and tell you ideas to the class... wait no, who cares about what the public thinks? it all depends on how well you can present you idea to the judge. and boy, no human is ever di atas pagar. sure the judge will be leaning to one team... life's like that, nothings fair. and different teachers (judges) have different preferences.. some like it when your aggressive and give low marks if your too soft-spoken (wow, wei yuen... you proved me wrong too) or well, it could be that the judge was different. so how do we solve this problem? have more judges!

(which they did in the finals, instead of having the normal number: one judge they had two) but i say, you should have ALL the judges of all the previous debates that was going on for the period of this event (understand what i just said? =P)

owh well, alls ended and we should not look back and regret/dwell over it. BUT i sill haven't finished my post yet... i am yet to talk abt the two topics i have just mentioned. on how strongly i believe that teenagers should not vote and the school system should be abolished

1. teenagers should not vote

sigh, all my points were already in the debate on that day. but just to list a few important ones:

we are not saying that we are preventing individuals from voting

all i'm saying is that 'there is a time for everything'

and that giving the power to such a great number of people to vote when they are not ready, could end up in a permanent consequence that is irreversible.

(well i didn't say this in my debate, but now i've thought/remembered about it) here it is:

  'Just like how a loving father would not give a sharp sword to this 3 year old young son to play with, therefore the government cannot afford to make this mistake even once, of allowing teenagers to vote. As in doing this, you might not only end up hurting yourself, but also your love ones, including our beloved malaysia'

blah, can you believe we lost! to me i think its all because the other team was aggressive. owh well, i'm not saying our judge was buyers (she just preferred a different style). and you (yes you reader, reading my blog now) have not heard the other points of the other team yet.

of cause this is another psychological thing, that because you as an individual believe in what you think is right to you, you only see the good points that are to the favor of that you believe in, while shutting out and rebutting every other point that doesn't not go in accordance to/against it.

owh well, i guess thats why they always ask you to see both sides of the leaf, and find out the other side of the story. but hey, humans.. buyers, favoritism is not uncommon among our species.

so what i'm try to say is that: what ever you read on my blog, is a tilted version to what i believe it. i admit it is had to be completely neutral and transparent and view things from a perfect view (which is out Creator's) ... although we are always striving to be like Him. life is hard, but nothing is impossible.... not for our God

and so, coming back to the post topic: debate. yeah do know that sometimes a person might believe in supporting the point given with all his heart. but because he is set on the opposing team, he must change his mind to crank up ideas and isi kandungan's to help his team win the debate. but deep down inside him, we knows whose rite (or well at-least he thinks he knows whose right, according to his perspective)

but i don't think it happens much. must people don't care about thinking so much. they just go along with life, and when the topic is thrown at them, they support whose ever side their give.. just like the saying: "when life gives you a lemon, make lemon-aid~" ... they don't bother going to the fridge and getting one themselves, they wait till it is thrown at them. well, i'll like love to see the world and you, prove me that i am horribly wrong!

and its all politics i tell you!!! yeah it was great to watch sivesh's team vs hon son's team. cause they two are like the... du-uhh bombs in smkts debate team. and it was like destined that this two teams would meet each other in the finals. DO NOT READ THE COSSEDOUT LINE cause they have to jaga their muka. ( hmm that didn't really work out well now did it?) if 'some' ppl were to read it, they'll get reallly really reallllly upset and angry with me. owh well... i told you this was sensitive didn't i? (haha its like i'm asking for trouble) but yala, ppl got to be more mature abit this kinda mattes rite? (mature as in don't even talk about it to keep in good terms, not vice versa) or is it the other way around... being mature as in brave to speak it out publicly?

5A should have fought 5Br two times lahhhhhh. scared ah? let the people fight among themselves then when they week only you come in and tapau whats left. (heh this is a RTS war strategy. if there is more then 2 players, you let all the players fight among themselves, while you built up forces (ok you can't do this in debate) and then when the other two opponent's are week from the fight, you make your appearance and sweep them of their weekend feet! FTW) then gg.

there was this time. i went for a briefing in taylor's lakeside, (owh man that place is serene) abt some CO2 car competition that is about to happen. see each school was only allowed to send two teams, max. and there was this school, DU that send like 12 people (thats like three teams worth) and wow! i met a friend there! yi jean! hihihihi! so i asked her what was this all about and she said something like this "my school has three teams, so we're gonna compete among each other in school, and the best two get to go for the competition"

hey makes total sense. they did not say there was a limit for the teams coming for briefing. only a limit when you write thier names on the form (legally send in the teams) ah. kool. all the best in pwning the other teams! i hope to see you at the comp!

well some of you might be wondering why i kept this to the last part, while there is a whole lot of junk inserted in the middle of them. well see, i hope ppl get bored of my post cause its so long and just read the top part and bottom part of it. the end. while skipping the middle. i still cant spell right  even after 11 years of skool. =P (i've been using auto-spell check alot for this post ya know) ... nah this was just a joke. and i think i've had a post on how dumb (in other words stewpid) the government education is. referring to the post individual liberalism . (hmmm i just read it and man i did miss out alot of crucial points)

let me sum it up in some points (and extra points):
-One size does not fit all. you try to generalize the education system hoping that everyone can go through the same kind of method. (yeah we've got different streams and you can choose what subject your taking for spm) but i'm not just implying this statement on that one filed only. yeah its good that every one has basics in the 3M, mengira, membaca and menulis. its not about the subjects. its about the WAY, the method the subjects are though

-school teachers are not up to standard (it took me a long time to figure how to write school teachers sux in a nice way) yeah SOME are exceptionally awesome (like pn ting=) while some.. are just.... noobs. like..... seriously....... see you wouldn't have this problem if they were tuition teachers, cause u can just fire them and hire a better one if their not up par. and so they will strive on better to teach to the best of the ability that they can. yeah i know they say, you've gotta learn how to crawl before you can run. and so newbie teacher's are expected to be noob when they just come in and gain knowledge and acquire the 'wisdom-of-teaching' over time. (yeah some newbies are naturally gifted and PRO from the start, its their talent) but it IS unfair to the students who got the teacher when she was a noob compared to the students who got her when she became a pro (thanks to the sacrifice of the students who got her when she was a noob..... anddd.... probably failed their exams and flunked not only out of school but also their lifes). then again life is never fair =D. then again some teachers who have been teaching for ages and eons and since the dinosaur age (yeah, they've thought longer than i've existed (thats 17 years if your wondering.. (good for warning la, like "ok this first time i wack with book, nextttt time.. haha... no book" sure the kid scared to do bad things in the future wan) but if every-time is book book book, sure they student to scared lahhh...  cane, got book, then cane wack book only mah.

now teachers wack students, so mafan. must right letter and all. one cane got don't know how many forms to fill up, some-more sometimes must call parents. haiz. last time ah (okla not me, someone else.. much older) say ah: "when we kena wack in school, we scared to tell our parents, cause if they find out, we kena wack again" haha imagine you go home then you say:

(that is IF you change the school system la from no wacking to wacking)) then there must be something to balance mah horr? and also applies if they don't teach well

teachers don't do a good job (if they at-least try then they are exempted from it) then they students take a vedio of it. (yes we are allowed to bring camcorder to school) so got evidence right? show to principle.. then on perhimpunan: students do onto teachers what they did onto them. muahahhaa

haha, the school system now: teachers are losing their power while students are getting the better of them. with all this child abuse policy from america.

just because the research says kids can get a mental trauma from a certain incident (lets say wacking) that means that everyone in the world can apply it la.. but the research so happen.... to be on erm.... kid's-who-get-trauma-from-wacking .... like that i can say i did my own research and said that you should not eat chili because from what i observed from my subject.. is that it died after eating it. or another research: its ok to jump down buildings, cause the subject i did my research on, could do it. mon..key...

aiah, as a small kid u kena wack (cause u did something bad) then good la, its to teach you mah... not like the teacher hates you and purposely find a reason to wack you. (or is it?) and then when u grow up, you can bully the one's smaller than you lah!

its a cycle. you know? the circle of life

well (another grandfather story) last time when i was a scout.. the seniors always bullied us. ask us to do push up lah, ask us to do all thier dirty jobs lah.. ask us to do this and that for them.. force us to march lah.. ect. ect. that was when i was a junior/recruit scout...... then i thought to myself, when i grow up it'll be my turn to do this. shouldn't i be saying "yehoo!" but no.. thats not what my heart said... i was a combo breaker..

and i regret

then again who would march if they weren't forced to? i was so delusional that you could coo people into doing things by fun and joy and out of their own voluntary personal choice (which are affected by: number of friends, fun-ness of activities, ect). in the end, all i saw was the troop falling and crumbling underneath me... all because i was too lenient (while all this time i thought i was being nice) and not having enough ... discipline.

i do not blame any politics. i do not blame the scouters above me. i do not find excuses that i was too tied down and not given any freedom of movement (if fact i've been given ALOT of freedom). all i blame is myslef: for being too lazy.

a combo breaker. ending a 'bad' (in your perspective) sometimes isn't a very good thing. not so special, just a destroyer.

but in destruction comes hope. hope that arises from the acing hearts of the younger generation after us. the fire ignited in them to see a revival, an age of Renaissance .. a revolution. from all that has been torn down.. yeah its good that there is a revolution even if a party is going strong to make it stronger... but sometimes it just has gotta be death that is strong enough to remind us of our purpose on earth.

so yeah.. circle-of-wacking? kena wack when you a student by an older teacher, and exceptional evil teachers get wacked by students. good wort! i'll prefer that then the teacher get fired. but if the teacher get wack by students. i won't be surprised if the teacher gets fired in the end =P

its all in the choice of the judiciary.

which consist of not one person by many (then again if you have some many people there bound to be politics and fights to happen. you cant have one person either (unless he's God) cause no human (or atleast thats what i think) is perfectly neutral and not buyers and perfectly fair and just)

now where was i? oh yeah third point:
-there's too much rubbish that defiles the schools pure educational system.
and therefore prevents it from achieving its goals and true purpose (that is to teach) students properly and efficiently. what do i mean? i'm talking about PEBLE and the 3 forms you have to fill up to go for camps. and all the paper work... "teachers nowadays aren't teachers their administrators"-LSJ. true, very true (haha actually i wouldn't know, i ain't a teacher) but yeah, some teacher don't or can't do paper work, so it ends up with the teachers that can do the paper work (which are most probably good teachers) and so... so much burden is upon them. but yeah.. who cares? some teachers take up their responsibility really seriously and are glad to be a government servant. but some others just misused the fix pay they receive and sLaCK!

poor hard working teachers. i hope you get a promotion and become a principle of a school one day.

or maybe even the head of education! muahahahha (nonono... i'm not sayign that our current one should be replace or anything like that... plsss ISA dun catch me) ..... what i'm saying is... yes he has his time. good. but as time pass, give others a chance.

so yeah about school's system: it has been persevered. even having interclass debate too up so much time. and some teachers got... upset..

 do debate, do after school lah. now got so many rubbish programs that supposed to 'help improve' the students from different aspects.

forgetting that the real purpose of school is to study!

again i can go on about a third debate (our quater-finals) with the topic on "entrance into universities should be based on merit" haha i've got time, do you? (no actually i don't have i'm mid-term exams are close by)

ok what i'm gonna say next is quite diverged from the actual topic 'university-merit' cause i'm just focusing on certain points while leaving out others. because i'm talking about "purpose of school is to study"

lets start
see in school: the way they teach does not cater to every individual. studies show that girls score better in exams compared to boys (averagely) this is because they method is more.. erm.. girly? guys prefer more hands on and technical stuff. more on experiments and exploring new ideas.

what the school is doing now is binding the students down to the text-book system which is

study whatever is written in the text book. and vomit it out on the exam day.
how do you score in exam papers? answer: how well you can reproduce a exact replica or the text book. the more symmetrical the mirror image is, the higher marks you score.

yeah yeah... i know its about 'understanding' not memorizing. but believe me: its devour and regurgitate.

they focus so much on one path. one method. and if you stray away from this path you get a zero, or get scolding or whatever. its like, they don't provide room for creativity or randomization. everything is fixed fixed fixed and if you want to score you've got to be fixed to what has be fixed for you.

in the school: we look narrow. now i understand the true meaning of the senior scout's motto: look wide

the school system.... is rubbish. they cater only to people of a certain type. while unheard and hidden talents are suppressed and destroyed, never given the chance to grow or expand.

you wanna be creative in university? oh guess what, you cant go in cause you merit is not high enough. (haha i find that i'm using alot of this taunting lines lately .. which are quite bad.. cause it makes the person you're talking too feel ... erm.. one kind) .. haha 'one kind'- learnt this awesome word from kok hon's bro and also jia ming.... one kind =P

and you see last time in the 19 and 18's there was so much breakthroughs in the fields of chemistry and geology and physics and .. so many other things.. so many elements were being found. people were curious about the earths age, i'm not sure if this is true, i ripped if off the internet: "Isaac Newton willingly stuck a bodkin 1 into his eye socket and ... Think of it as the equivalent of jamming a modern butter knife into your eye.."

so... see.. people was so free to explore and therefore help mankind advance.

so well... went to jalan pasar the other day with joshua to get some electronics... boy do i love wires! looking for a 10A 500V fuse... its like.... impossible to find.. i still haven't found one yet

bought some items to make a privet circuit breaker box......
well for those who ain't got any idea what a circuitbreaker is....
it is that switch like thingy that flips/trips when there is a lightning or when any electrical appliances short circuit.. this prevents damage to the main electrical network.. it works kinda like a fuse.. just that you can use it over and over again... it does not burn.. it only trips (break the circuit)

ok so... why do you need a personal one?
cause.. in skool, you do not have access to the main power supply unit (PSU) .. its locked up in some hidden room... so lets say you plug in a radio that is spoiled and you "trip" the circuit... you don't have access to the PSU room to flip back up the switch.. then thats it.. you doom... you cant use that plug point anymore.. you've got to go borrow the uber long extension cord from scouts and get power from the next block....

so how do you overcome this problem? well.. you can find a stick and try to poke back up the tripped switch from the window of the PSU room... or you could have a circuit breaker OUSIDE the PSU room.. so that you can easily flip it back up..


how convenient eh? .. its not all that hard to wire it too

and also another news is.. scouts annual camp is over!
well.. for this camp... i'm glad to say that we had a uber sound system that provided us with alot of music .. =D

the B208D is an awesome small speaker .. its compact, but packs a punch! while still sounding good... (well to me la)

and in this camp.. its safe to say that the test-pen became my favorite tool ... i can't believe i only owned one a few weeks back.. i should have bought this 5 years ago!!!

yeap.. it was a kool camp la.. had its ups and downs... pro and cons...

and we won second in volleyball! =D yea.. silver medal for me the benchie (the sub who sits on the bench..... like... forever) =P BUT .. the whole team got to play this year! ... =D so yeap.. happy
